We are based in Thatcham near Newbury in Berkshire, and have a great reputation for producing excellent results in a very short time. Some of our students have had TV appearances and endorsements, and are often in the press for their achievements.
There is no age limit, upper or lower, as we find if someone wants to play, they will.

We are also members of the Registry Of Guitar Tutors, and between us have over 20 years teaching, live performing and recording experience.

Newbury Rock School News!
Our next Rock School workshops are to be held during the Summer break. These will be Monday August 2nd to Friday the 6th, and Monday August 23rd to Friday the 27th. Morning, afternoon or all day sessions available. ALL ages and abilities welcome, beginners to advanced. World class famous teachers will not only help, but jam and perform with you!
If you play guitar, drums, bass, keyboards or sing at any age or level, please feel welcome to come along.
Once again this event will be held at the fabulous Studio 91 recording studio at new Greenham park, Newbury, NOT our teaching faciility in Cold Ash. With four air conditioned fully kitted out rehearsal rooms, it makes the perfect setting.
We have world class professional musicians come to teach, including Steve 'Smiley' Barnard (Robbie Williams, Joe Strummer, Squeeze), Jodie Hawkes (Chesney Hawkes, Pete Townsend), Ryan Burnett (The Crave), Tom Swann (The Crave), C.J Evans (The Crave),Tim Love,(Chad Smith (Red Hot Chilli Peppers) Lee Thompson (Madness) Chesney Hawkes, Pete Friesen (Alice Cooper, The Almighty) Plus others!
Available to all ages and abilities, our rock school is open to anyone wanting to play and record in a band, and not just to our students. People of similar ages will be put together to make the bands, with help from our pro's available at all times for all bands.
The cost will be £100 for the five days, morning or afternoon sessions. The cost for 5 full days is £200. This will include a performance at the end of the week, and photographs taken by professional photographer Mikaela Wild.
There will also be a contest for the chance to perform at the Newbury Corn Exchange on Saturday, September 11th at 'Newburys Biggest Most Spectacular Night Of Rock', with several world class bands!
Times will be 9am till 12.00pm, 1pm till 4.00pm and all day from 9am till 4pm.
A live performance for family and friends will be held on the last day.
